While on the ship, Ha's mother wants to keep a routine for her children so they aren't idle. What is a benetit of having a routine? Why would Ha's mother want her kids to learn English?
The benefit of having a routine is being able to know when and what to do as to not be disorganized. Ha's mother would want her kids to know english because it may help in many aspects of her life because english is a very common language. :)
