This is a parabola.

The vertex is for x= 15/2*5=3/2, and then the maximum is reached for

$h(3/2)=-5(9/4)+15(3/2)+10=\dfrac{-45+90+40}{4}=\dfrac{85}{4}$

As 85/4 < 24 the ball does not reach a height of 24 m
