-The nucleus of an atom accounts for the largest mass of an atom, while that of electrons in the energy level is negligible. Thus, the mass of an electron is said to be about 1 over 1,836 of the mass of proton.
-The weight of an electron is said to be about 1/1836 that of a hydrogen atom, that has a single electron and a single proton, therefore an electron is 1/1836th the size of a proton.
