I was positive that it was A but i don’t have much confidence in myself so i looked it up just for good measure, when i saw someone answer C i went along with it hesitantly regardless of my gut :/ anyway i went along with it because it was similar to A. While reading C didn’t make much sense because for example if you where to be kidnapped and your fight or flight instinct came in and you fought your capture and than ran away if can not harm you later on. How can u fighting them off possibly harm you later in life? It can only cause relief-relief that you got away.
