I think that having an attractive physique is not important unless you want one, and this all completely depends on the person and what they find attractive. One danger i see with pursuing what society sees as an ideal body type is the possibility of getting an eating disorder, which can be unhealthy and deadly. The ideal body type should be what you are comfortable with not what the society wants.
