(PLZ HELP) The force on a rocket car stays constant to 25,000 N. Initially the car is traveling at 125 m/s. Over the course of the next 7.50 s, the mass of the car decreases by 440 kg. What is the final velocity of the car?

GREETINGS!

Answer is 553 m/s

By the formula of,

       Vf = Vi + at

  where,

             Vi is initial velocity

             a is acceleration due to gravity

             t is time.

As we know that,

                            F = ma

so,

                   [tex]a = \frac{F}{m}[/tex]

put this in the final velocity formula,

                  Vf = Vi + (F/m)t

                  Vf = 125 + (25000/440)7.5

                  Vf = 551.13 m/s
