One night, a little girl was going downstairs to sneak a snack to her room. She was nervous- that the loud creaks her feet made while walking along the floorboards- would wake up her parents. When she got to the kitchen, she heard a slight groan- coming from a vulture- outside. She looked out the window to get a good look at the bird, but it wasn't light enough to see it. She got her snack, then checked the window once more. She jumped as she saw a hideous- bird. Her skin turned pale-. "That's not a vulture..." she whispered. She started to run back to her room, but then came the vulture, crashing through the window.
