In problem two, before adding the integer (97) to the data set you should calculate the data. Without adding it you have the following:

mean: 79

median: 82.5

mode:  83

After adding the integer of 97, you would have the following:

mean: 81

median: 83

mode: 83

Therefore, number two would have an answer choice of A. The mean and median would increase while the mode stays the same.

3. In the third equation it is important to learn how to gather this data yourself, as this is foundational math which will later be applied, trust me. Suffice it to say, with a mean of 81, median of 82, and mode of 72 your answer choice would be median, answer B.
