Can someone summarize the energy Cycle in organisms for me?? Like the step by step process, thanks so much

Respuesta :

Of course! The energy cycle starts at the sun, which is just emitting energy. The sun transfers energy to plants like grass which will grow and eventually be consumed by animals like cows or dear. After these animals eat, they will soon be eaten as well by carnivores such as wolves or humans. Naturally, the last bit of energy that is in one grasshopper for say will decrease by an exponent of 10 as it goes down this chain, so carnivores have to eat a decent amount of food. When these carnivores inevitably die, nutrients are consumed by either more carnivore that will still die or decomposers like worms or fungus, they break everything down and put the energy back into the ground and plants get energy therefore restarting the cycle. ( This is where I just start to rant :L ) The sun is returned no energy during this cycle and will implode, but don't worry, we'll all be long gone before that as the atmosphere will burst and kill all of us until single-celled organisms capable of surviving ultraviolet rays and a lack of oxygen develop over time and THEY will to die.

Hope this helps, if not, comment down below please!!!
