A. Anne Bradstreet: colonial poetry. She wrote English verse in the American Colonies. One of her most famous works is The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in America (a volume of poetry).
B. William Bradford: Colonial journals and documents. Although he was the governor of the Plymouth colony for many years, he was also fanous for writing a journal chronicling the Pilgrim venture. This chronicle is known as History of Plymouth Plantation, 1620-47
C. Thomas Jefferson: revolutionary/protest writing. He is known for being the draftsman o the Declaration of Independence.
