Not at all. When the Founding Father's established this country, they envisioned a land where freedom rings loud and wide. Instead, the country began with bigotries and a prejudice that only heightened as the country aged. When President Washington made his final address, he warned all the next presidents, high residing officers, and all other government members against political parties, because he knew how much it would tear the country apart. When Thomas Jefferson wrote life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, he intended those words for white men, and now there are brilliant women of color running for president. I wonder if the Founding Father's saw our country now, if they would even recognize it. They intended for our country to be united on all fronts, but instead we have differing opinions on whether or not women should have a baby. Our country may not be what was intended, but it is what it has become.
