If someone wanted to go on a boating trip but there was a thunder storm he couldn't go. Basically nature is stopping you from doing something.

Man vs nature means that nature is keeping you from doing something you enjoy. So let's say you want to play a game of football with a couple of friends .. But it begins to get windy and rainy. Nature is fighting back with a storm so you can't play. Hope this helped
