A theory is only accepted if it can't be disproven. A theory uses science, which is experimental data transformed into reality. A theory is more than an idea. It uses proven laws of physics and accepted standards.
Once a scientific idea is upsurged to the grade of a theory, it is considered as a strong explanation as this signifies that it possesses encouragement from a variety of disciplines, from a huge pile of evidence, and even though it could be counterfeit, it has not been. A scientific theory has stood upon the test of time and the disparagement of the toughest critics. Thus, a scientific theory is considered as the best explanation for a given thing.
