B. Temperate deciduous forest and evergreen trees: temperate deciduous forests receive rain in the spring, summer and fall and snow in the winter. The forest floor in temperate deciduous forests supports mosses, ferns, maple, oak and birch trees as well as small numbers of evergreen trees such as pines and fir.
C. Subarctic taiga and moss: these landscapes are characterized by coniferous forests consisting mostly of pines, spruces and larches and moss-covered rock and plantation.
