The agriculture of Greece is not really quite good considering that Greece is suffering from natural limitations such as drought and poor soil. As a result, Greece becomes prone to soil erosion and lack of fertilizers, thus having insufficient capital investment. In addition, only 30% of the total land area of Greece can sustain and support crops this is because Greece has no major valleys and that farms are small. The main crop of Greece is wheat. Other than that, other crops include cotton, grains, olives, figs, oranges, peaches, potatoes, tomatoes, tobacco and sugar beets.
