A jar contains 5 green marbles and 9 purple marbles. A marble is drawn and dropped back into the jar. Then a second marble is drawn and dropped back into the jar. Both marbles are green. If another marble is drawn, what is the probability that it will be green?

Respuesta :

The total number of marbles in the jar is 14. Because you are taking out the green marble and then placing it back into the jar, the probability will stay the same. So you take the total number of green marbles in the jar and divide it by the total number of marble. So I got 5/14 = 0.357.
