The third bank of the river is a drama film which was released in 1994. The story is in form of oral monologue and the narration was done by the son. It was about a nuclear family, the father is an average man who is always taunted by his wife. The father decided to go away and he never come back despite all efforts that was made to bring him back. The son mourned for him all his life, the son finally become sick and express a desire to be put in a boat when he die, possibly because his father went away on boat and stay alone inside a boat for years.
