Length is twice the Width

 

Perimeter = 126 ft.

 

let width = W

 

length = 2W

 

P = 2 length + 2 width

 

126 ft. = 2(2W) + 2W

 

126 ft. = 6W

 

 21 ft. = W

 

width is 21ft., length is 42 ft.

Answer:  

Length= 412 feet

Breadth = 412/2      (as length is twice the breadth)

              = 206 feet

therefore, area = l*b

                           = 412 * 206

                           = 84872 feet^2
