1. Select your favorite song or poem.
2. Copy and paste your song into a document.
3. On the same document, write a paragraph explaining the theme of the song or poem. In your paragraph:
• State the title of your song or poem and the author
• State the theme of the piece
• Explain whether this theme is explicit or implicit and why
• Provide an example of how the theme relates to your life
4. Save your work to your computer or drive.
5. Submit your work in 01.02 What Is Theme?
