The Law of Conservation of Energy states

a
the Potential and Kinetic Energy all become mechanical energy
b
Energy can neither be created or destroyed
c
All three of these are true about the statement
d
Kinetic Energy becomes Potential energy and Potential Energy becomes Kinetioc Energy

Respuesta :

Answer: energy neither created or destroyed

Explanation: considering potential and kinetic energy, think of humpty dumpty, sitting on the wall. He is above the ground and if the wall wasn’t there, he would fall due to the force of gravity. As long as he is on the wall he has the potential to fall.

Suppose he falls. As he does the potential energy from gravity changes to kinetic energy, the energy of moving. The closer he gets to the ground, the less the potential energy as more of it stops being potential and becomes kinetic. Just before humpty hits the ground, it is all kinetic. When he hits the ground, the kinetic energy is partly and temporarily retained but movement changed in direction, but in the end it is converted to heat energy and sound energy.
