The word "history" to the ancient Greeks meant "research", "inquiry", that is, implied the search for the vestiges of past events. Thus, the main goal of History is to rescue the cultural aspects of a particular people or region for the understanding of the development process.
In this scenario, history is considered a record of past events. These records may be in the form of articles, theses, books, documents, etc., and follow scientific methodologies of prudence of knowledge.
