Jamestown, England's first permanent colony in the New World, got off to a
disastrous start. Why were things so bad and what could have been done
to make it more successful?
H

Respuesta :

First of all, the colonist were unprepared. They had no experience to do anything. The were gentlemen, they couldn’t lift, clean, cook or even plant crops. Since they couldn’t plant crops they were left with without food. And since they were next to a swamp there were a lot of mosquitoes that carried diseases. To make it more successful they should’ve had farmers and men who are hard workers and know what to do.
