Answer:
the kidnapper which is the gardener was asked by a man if he could get him a dog because he will pay a lot for a dog that can pull his weight. his thoughts are. I love to gamble and I have a family that is big and I need money he thinks. as buck is passed to the stranger buck gets afraid but that turned to anger when the rope tightened around his neck so he sprung at the man and tried to attack him, buck was surprised he was thrown to the side and he landed on his back. finally he tires right in time i say. he will be easier to handle this way. I load him up onto the train and make sure he is in a trap. oh no i don't think i will be able to get him delivered alive, buck had just tried to attack him again.
if this was in a third persons view you would only know bucks thoughts and feelings because he is the main character and the rest of the characters would be considered flat characters which means you only know there actions

Answer:
I signed for the dog in the crate which hurled himself savagely against the bars at me. I smiled grimly at him as I brought out my hatchet and club. I needed to break this dog before I could sell him. The driver asked, “You ain't going to take him out now?”. I replied, “Sure” as I drove the hatchet into the crate for a pry. The men watching me scattered as they waited for the performance.
The first person point of view definitely lacks the feelings that you get when you read it from the third-person point of view. You know what is going to happen when the man in the red sweater pulls out the hatchet and club. You fear this scene more in a third-person point of view because you are able to see how it affects Buck through his thoughts instead of just though the red sweater man’s thoughts.
Hope this helps!
