If Fraction has denominators such as 10, 100 or 1000 it would be easy to convert it into decimal. Like this:
6
------- - Fraction.
100
Now, Write down the number six and add zeros to it. If the denominator has 2 zeros in it then the there should be two decimal numbers. Answer for the above fraction would be: 0.06.
If a fraction does not have denominators such as 10, 100 or 1000, then do the following:
6
------
25
The above fraction's denominator is not 10, 100 or 100. So, multiply the numerator and the denominator with a number that would give you the denominator as 10, 100 or 1000.
6 × 4 = 24
----- ---- -------
25 × 4 = 100
Now, you can convert it as 0.24
If a fraction has a denominator that cannot be converted into 10, 100 or 1000, then directly divide and write the decimal.

Hello There!
There is a very easy way to convert a fraction into a decimal. We first must know that a fraction is a division problem in disguise meaning that it's the same thing. For example, [tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex] is the same thing as 2 ÷ 3
An easy way to do this is read the fraction as it were a division problem. This means that the number on top of a fraction the numerator will divide by the denominator.
