In at least one hundred words, describe the interactions between Rowlandson and the Native Americans she lived with.

Respuesta :

Mrs. Rowland's story can either be good or bad. She was captured along with her children, and she was separated from them against her will. She had sewn clothes for the Indians in exchange for food, but they did not harm her. Instead, they have given her a Bible and was released after the ransom was paid by her husband. Her family was reunited after their captivity in 11 weeks.

Answer:

When Rowlandson was captured by the Native Americans, she had viewed her captivity as a test and punishment from God, wherein if she were able to survive and pass the test, she would strengthen her relationship with God. In the eleven weeks that she had spent in captivity, she was not harmed nor treated with disdain. Rather, all that the Native Americans had asked of her was to tailor for them in exchange for food. They were polite and compassionate towards her, and when the ransom was finally paid off by her husband at the end of the eleven weeks of capture, the Native Americans had immediately set her free without any harm coming to her.
