My dear brother,

First of all, I want you to know that I am doing great and I always remember you and the others in my prayers. I know being so far away from home may look like a great thing, but there are times I miss family time and home.

Anyway, regarding your letter that you wanted to stop school and go into business, I would say that I am happy to know you have some sense of doing things by yourself. But at the same time, let me tell you that since you're already so close to finishing up school, it would be a better idea to finish what you started and get the schooling done. Mom and Dad has already spent a lot on your and our education and it is only right that we try our best to see it through. You can always pursue the business plan after schooling. Moreover, the education you get may come handy in your business.

Also, the world is evolving and everyone's working to get their degrees and educational qualification levels have increased. So, supposing you stop school, there is no saying if you'll ever go back to it incase you regret your present decision. But if you finish schooling while you're still young and involved, then there is a higher chance of getting both things along the way.You can get the educational degree while you are still in the perfect age to easily learn and imbibe the knowledge, and also you’re still a bit young to start a business by yourself. As you grow older, you’ll know how it is. And also, business can always wait. There is no perfect time to start a business, you can start a business even after you’re 40. But there is a certain limit to how old you can be a student in a school and learn things.

So, my advice as your elder sister will be that you continue with your school and get good grades and then move on to business when you're done with the schooling. Who knows it can be a much better plan, a much better business proposal after you’re done with your education. And that will also ensure Mom and Dad support you all the way, instead of you starting it young.

I am proud of you even thinking of this business plan but at the same time, I would suggest getting your education done before you move into the corporate sector. The corporate world will always be there to join whenever you want. So, think deep on what I’ve said and I hope you’ll make the right decision, not only for the family and us, but especially for yourself and your future.

With lots of love,

Your loving sister Jane.
