Can someone please help me extend my essay to 1000 words?
This is what I have so far.

When I was younger I hated reading with a passion. I always saw life as something that was so dull and boring. When I hit the sixth grade I had this reading teacher who just loved books and decided that I was gonna be her project for the year. All year she would tell me to read this book or that book and no matter what I read I couldn't get into it. But there was this one book that I read in the middle of the year and it just changed everything for me. It was this book about imagination and this secret world that only kids could see. But, all of a sudden it was like I was seeing the world in a whole new way. I was beginning to see color more and just thought I saw so much more than I thought I was before. It just made my childhood much more exciting.

Talk more about your younger life and go more in-depth about the book. Replace words with longer words that mean about the same. I'd use Grammarly for help if you having trouble. Pretty good free extension that's somewhat popular. Also, if your looking for some books to read either as a project or for something to do in your spare time, I'd recommend "The Hunger Games" or "The Maze Runners", both pretty basic highly rated book series.
