How to calculate the area?

It should be noted that area will be:

= Length × Width

Length = 28 + x + 28 = x + 56

Width = 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 = 112

Using Pythagoras, x will be:

x² = 56² - 28²

x = 48.5

Therefore, the length will be:

= x + 56

= 48.5 + 56.

= 104.5

The area will be:

= 104.5 × 112

= 11704mm²
