Nucleus - The “Control center of the cell”, it is responsible for growth and reproduction. Contains DNA and RNA
Chromosome (DNA) - Genetic information in the Nucleus
Nucleolus - Assembles Ribosomes & transfer of RNA
Cytoplasm - Protects the genetic material of the cell and other cellular organelles
Mitochondria - Where the biochemical process of respiration and energy production occurs
Lysosome - Breaks down excess or worn out cell parts.
ER - important in synthesis and transport of proteins.
