Servitude and slavery are similar because they both require you to work for someone and can be sold, inherited, or loaned through the transaction between the owner and someone else.
However, servitude and slavery is different because servitude is only required to work for a couple of years in exchange of land, clothing and/money. Slaves are required to work for all of their lives and this job is hereditary which means that their children would become slaves as well.
