Solution :

We know , 1 ml of water is equal to $1 \ cm^3$ .

So , 63 ml of water is :

$V=63 \ cm^3$     .... equation 1 .

Now , 1 cm = 0.1 dm

Putting value of 1 cm in equation 1 .

We get ,

$V=63\times (0.1\ dm)^3\\V=63\times 10^{-3}\ dm^3\\V=6.3\times 10^{-2}\ dm^3$

Therefore , the volume of 63 ml water in $dm^3$ is $6.3\times 10^{-2}\ dm^3$ .
