~Add 13 to both sides

2g = 16

~Divide 2 to both sides

g = 8

The answer is 8
First you add 13 to both sides, this gives you 2g=16. After that you divide both by two, when dividing 2 and 2g, the 2 cancels itself, and 16 divided by 2 is eight, this would equal to g=8
