Dividing circumference with radius

If you divide the circumference C over the radius r, you get 2pi

2pi = C/r

this is because

C = 2pi*r

is one formula to find the circumference. Another formula is

C = pi*d

which works because d = 2r, ie the diameter is twice the radius.
