There are four major types of snake venoms such as neurotoxic, cytotoxic, myo-toxic and hemotoxic venoms.

When human is bitten with hemotoxic  venom based snake, the blood pressure will decrease, leads to increase in blood clotting and even death.

Cytotoxic venom increases the permeability of muscle cell causing death of tissues.

Neurotoxic venom destroy the nerve cell by interrupting the  brain function and nervous system which leads to paralysis.
