When faced with different goods to buy, every customers faces a trade-off.
For example, one trade-off may result from either buying more savory but less healthy food like Pizza, or buying less savory but healthier food like tofu or quinoa.
The trade-off here is between long-term health, and short-term satisfaction. If you like pizza more than tofu, you have to decide what you care the most about in the precise moment of the purchase: your health, or your personal satisfaciton.
Some compromises that can be made on consumer goods include:
1. Packaging and;
2. Customer service.
