To start with, The first step or level of human existence is by birth. The family, continent or race in which an individual is conceived in which often from a huge part of such individual's canvas isn't in one's control and his wholly dependent on fate.
Also, in most cases, individuals belonging to the wealthy and influential families have greater propensity of remaining in the affluent and influential zone as fate has ordained them to a background where little to no effort is required to make waves.
Similarly, it could be argued that so many individuals strive to improve and shape their lives into something worthwhile, however, only few who have been ordained by fate or predestined end up been heard and ultimately realize their dreams.
Finally, it could be observed that even despite the much improved technological progress witnessed in today's world, technology still falls short of certain natural and predestined occurrences, hence, making it safe to admit that fate still has a strong say in shaping human lives.
