- Neuron as the longest cell that is found in the human body, is known to be branched and elongated but cheek cells are said to be too short in size when compared to neurons.
- The neuron is made up of a single long part called the axon whereas the cheek cell has short branched parts called dendrites
The cheek cells is known not to have a cell wall and they also have small-sized vacuoles in either side of cell.
