Dear best friend,
Everything is about to change. I remember the day we met in kindergarten. It was the start of the after school program we we’re both in enrolled in. We were standing outside by the monkey bars, with which ships beneath our shoes and sunshine on our cheeks. Little did we know we were about to become inseparable. For the next 13 years, we will be battling homework, childhood drama, and be split up in the classroom. Then we would graduate together, Now, we’re here. I’m saying goodbye to all I ever known, and packing my things to move 100+ miles south. But it’s just not the same. It’s just a one in a lifetime experience and I feel like if I missing out on it I know you would never be upset with me for it, but I already feel guilty about it. I honestly don’t know if I would of survive high school without you through everything that happen there,like missing people our hometown, meeting amazing new people and becoming best friends, we were together.People always say friendship never last but boy did we prove them wrong.I already miss coming home gossiping I miss binge watching out favorite shows together and deciding we needed to make a late night food run.We could literally do anything and have a great time doing it, even studying was fun because we were always on the same page.Even when everything is changing, one thing will always stay constant, and that’s us.You have been my best friend literally forever, and some distance is isn’t going to change that.Im not going to replace you or forget about you I promise I will visit at least once a month, and we will have super long phone calls when necessary.
One thing I know for sure:we will always be best friends.
