Genghis Khan was able to create an empire by uniting the clans of the steppe under his leadership. The Mongols briefly ruled most of Russia, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. The Mongols expanded their empire using quick and attack with an armed and disciplined army. Mongol was known as the best horseback fighter in their time. The weapon they use were bows, swords. Horses helped in rendering speed, allowed the Mongols to ride long distances in a short time.
