In a classroom setting, how can you help children develop atypically, socially or emotionally, start to self-regulate and avoid negative attribution patterns/behaviors?
first thing i am doing in my class room is the children get sit in there own seat with there friends i have found if you do this the student is more likely to want to be an avid student in your class next i would bring in class different kinds of seats. i teach a 8th grade class and they love being able to sit in a different kind of chair every day third if you know the child dose not have a good home life be kind to them and if it looks like they don't really want to talk to you then don call on them it can frustrate them a lot but if you think they need a hug give them one my kids really need one every once and a while last don't do notes every day it can get tiring for you and the students so keep the work in the class room and don't always to notes or read make sure you mix it up a lot this will help them develop good relationships with you (teacher) and with there friends
