The Tennessee Valley Authority Act effected/impacted the citizens greatly, because they became happier, since they did not need to pay extra money/fees to private power utility companies. However, the private power utility companies were furious. They protested against the Tennessee governors and leaders. This crisis was a hot topic. The dam cost a lot of money to repair, because of recent floods (1933)

Although the question is incomplete because does not provide the documents it refers to, we can comment on the following.
The effects of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act were the following. First, it developed the kind of infrastructure to take electrification to this region of the country. Private companies used to provide the power in this territory but charged too much money, so the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933 as part of the New Deal program created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, offered many jobs and electric power at better prices to the people of Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. It also provided support to agriculture in the region.
