It’s similar to making a telephone call, but you are using the internet as the medium. Users use a microphone and speakers connected to their computer to communicate.
Video chat or video conferencing enables you to see visuals of the people you are talking to. Besides headphones with an attached microphone, you will also need a camera (webcam) attached to your computer or smartphone. Businesses use videoconferencing as a communication medium. It enables people from different parts of the world to meet without leaving the place where they are located.
