minus 7x from both sides
7x-7x+5y=20-7x
0+5y=20-7x
5y=20-7x
divide both sides by 5
5y/5=(20-7x)/5
y=(20-7x)/5
y=(20/5)+(-7x/5)
$y=4- \frac{7x}{5}$
