I stepped from plank to plank
So slow and cautiously;
The stars about my head I felt,
About my feet the sea.
I knew not but the next
Would be my final inch,
This gave me that precarious gait
Some call experience

Respuesta :

Answer:

The answer is B: Experience is gained through perseverance, even under dangerous circumstances.

Explanation:

This poem shows how we people live our lives. Each plank that the character, 'I', or the author takes represents the choices or decisions we make in our life. Since it is the choice in life, we are very precarious about making it. The plank also can represent the growth. As you take each step from plank to plank, you grow. And when you reach that point, you gain certain wisdom through that, which we call experience.

Basically, this poem tells us that every plank and step we take makes us mature and gives us wisdom, important message, and knowledge in life.

Answer:

b. Experience is gained through persevering, even

under dangerous circumstances.

Explanation:

The following lines show how this is correct:

[start of the poem telling how the narrator walked through dangerous things]

"This gave me that precarious gait  (gait means a manner of walking)

Some call experience"

This means he or she got experience from these dangerous circumstances through persevering. Now the narrator has experience.

It isn't just walking it is talking about, it's talking about 'walking' through life and its dangers and hardships to gain experience.

I hope this helps! :)
