What is a true statement about muscles?

A.
Cardiac muscles are voluntary.

B.
Skeletal muscles are involuntary.

C.
All muscles move involuntarily.

D.
Skeletal muscles move in pairs.

Respuesta :

I think the answer is A.
Voluntary movement means the movement is control by the person. Such as in walking, or stooping. You make the muscle move.

Involuntary means the muscle the muscle moves without any control from you, like your heart beating.

Based on this A & B are wrong. They are actually the reverse of the statement.

Any answer that uses "ALL" is very rarely correct. But since you know A& B are incorrect then C is incorrect.

So the only one remaining is D. Skeletal muscles attach to bones to move other bones. Many of them move in pairs.
