No. On the contrary, some studies show being a loner can be good for your health. It is all preference to what you like and your personality. Although the reason for being a loner may affect how good/bad being by yourself is. So it really all comes down to your preferences and social/ creative personality. Me personally would never be able to be a loner because I am a very social person but someone like my brother would do very well being a loner because of his lack of need for human interaction.
