PLZ I need urgent help!
In ancient times, the Greeks had gods for many important forces in their lives -- the sea, thunderstorms, farming, music, medicine, poetry, archery, etc. Why do you think they imagined many different gods rather than just one? Would this make life more confusing or less confusing?

Answer:

They had different gods to pray for different things. For example a food god would be prayed for a good harvest. A fertility god would be prayed to for a healthy baby. This would make life confusing as you would have to spend a LOT of time praying. Maybe about 5 hours a day to major and minor gods.
