People are curious about our galaxy and what lies beyond because as our wold gets older and older, the more overused it becomes leaving us with less resources. By exploring beyond our world we could have the possibility to create new sources of energy or other resources.

The people are curious to know whether they are alone in the universe or is there any other organism on the planets, as they want to find another region of the naturally occurring resources.
Therefore, people are curious to learn more about galaxies as they are intrigued by lives other than their planet.
