PLZ HELP with this one!
The force needed to move the airlock that distance as calculated to be 500N. It was also found that the airlock accelerated 10m/s^2 what musty have been the total mass of the airlock including the man?
a)0.02kg
b) 50kg
c)500kg

Answer:

b) 50kg

Explanation:

You simply use F=ma equation, newtons second law

We are given: F=500N     a=10m/s^2    m=?

1) lets change F=ma to help us find the m, we divide both sides with the a so we get [tex]\frac{F}{a} =m[/tex]

2) plug in the F and the a, [tex]\frac{500N}{10m/s^2} =m[/tex], where [tex]\frac{N}{m/s^2} =kg[/tex]

3) plug it in ur calculator and you should get 50kg

hope this helped :)
