valley of Despair." With that remark, King recognizes that a "valley of despair" exists and pleads with his

listeners not to "wallow" in it. In your own words, explain King's message in this sentence.

Dr. King's message in my opinion, was basically just telling us to have hope; "wallowing in despair" means to lay or bask in loss or absence of hope, but Dr. King tells us not to do that.
